Okay, it is rough looking but fun. I bought this Walmart 4' foam glider plane at least a year ago and it was first a glider and then a set of wings I tried on my ugly's (standard pusher planes). So they were already rough looking when I started. Span 30" Root Chord 7 1/2" Tip Chord 4 5/8" Sweep is roughly 6 3/4" back at the tips compared to the nose Each LE is 17" I used 1/8 ply for keel and made it the full size of the root chord plus the pylon and skeg (?) parts that stick out. The height from pylon top to skeg bottom is only 2" but I didn't do a wraparound like others are doing. I put bluecore on either side of the pylon, cut a hole through about 1/4" under, strapped the motor on with a zip strip and then used a little probond to secure it. Coro tips are the harborsales 2mm stuff in a over/under setup. Drooping the tips seems to make the wing more stable which is okay for me but others may like things more exciting. The little pic in the corner shows the tip compared to the tiplet which is 3 7/8" at its tallest x 5 1/2". The red part is kinda how my keel comes out at the back. From the bottom I put a battery hole on one side, an rx/esc hole on the other side and a split coro hatch to make things easy to get to. There is a small hole in my keel to put the battery wire through so all is covered with coro during rough landings. I ended up cutting some of the keel side of the battery cover off for venting, but it still holds and protects. On my first throw I totally forgot to check the controls and I of course had them reversed. It smashed into the ground and broke a wing near the root because of all the holes for the components had made them a bit weak. I roto'ed a trench just past the coro hatch and a hole right through the skeg, shoved a short CF rod in and probond'ed it. It is much stiffer now. With laptop lions, j250, 5amp esc, naro rx and pico servos it comes out to 9.2 oz. You can't tell it weighs that much though because it glides great and the j250 is a monster with the 4025 prop. This will help me when I want to fly in 20+ mph winds. I may mess with the elevons a bit because they bind at the ends of travel and my rolls are slow. It does roll though and it can loop. It just needs some tweaking. I wouldn't mind if it were prettier, but frankly I can't even tell the color when it is more than 100ft out and blasting at full speed. The brown is temporary to tell up from down. I gotta get some nice blue or yellow stuff but I wanted to FLY!
