AUW = 6.5 oz First flight started well as I got it up a little bit on the straight out climb, but I didn't paint it at all and I didn't know that the throws were toooo big on up elev so I ended up driving it right into the ground nose first because of disorientation and overcontrol. I had to dial out almost all reflex and keep from overusing the up elevator or it would just stall and spin into the ground. Once I knew that I was able to cruise around the soccer field really nicely. It can't stall too close to ground or there isn't room to speed back up. Other than that it is a blast. I got in general loping around, careful loops, easy rolls, stall turns. Lots of fun for such a small powertrain! My only other problem was that my Hitec AM setup seems to REALLY suffer from signal loss when the antenna gets oriented directly at the plane. I always forget until the motor starts stuttering and I realize I am pointed right at it again. It also seems more sensitive to the GWS DD interference. My Futuba FM and GWS receivers don't seem to be quite as fickle. I changed to a GWS and life is much better.
