DOS Internet Pages
Welcome to the FDISK.COM DOS Internet Pages. These pages are a bit messy at
the moment as I am collecting links to break out into separate information areas.
If you were looking for the main Lynx home page it is at lynx.browser.org.
Here are my links to various DOS internet programs (mostly web related). Sorry it is ancient now.

Individual user contributions: Four great packages of
internet tools put together by John Lewis. Make sure you run them from a
subdirectory--DIALNET is recommended. Also use -y as a command line option
to avoid being asked if you want to create each new subdirectory.
John Lewis has made quite a few very helpful programs/modifications for DOS
users. There are four listed here, but you should check his
site first to see if he has newer versions.
b386-e01.exe
This package has never been issued before, but has been bouncing around since
the spring 1998. It has been designed to replace Bobcat for persons with a 386
and above and get rid of the memory problems.. It looks and acts much like Bobcat,
has a choice of script or pap install, a much faster display and speed meter
too.
dlnx-e03.exe
A ppp package that installs like Bobcat ( with scripit) but contains the latest
doslynx (0.16) together with all of Wayne Janzen's new stuff for doslynx users..
qnos-e01.exe
A good NOS package... the fastest dos telnet and ftp I have used. Might be useful
for someone. Installs with Bobcat format with ppp or pap.
trt-e01.exe
A traceroute package... interesting dos project that allows you to trace your
packets routing through to server. Installs to work with ppp or pap servers.
Wayne Janzen has made updates for the supporting
files For DOSLYNX and a page of search engine query scripts. He had also repackaged
the SpeedScript Editor with his own extra info.
Miguel Ángel submitted a config converter from arachne to bobcat called Arac2cfg
Sam Heywood made a nice batch file to create a "mailto:"
template. Then you return to Bobcat, access the template, compose your message
and send it.
